LOCAL & WIDE AREA NETWORK CERTIFICATION
TRAINING PROGRAM
The Comptia Network+ certification training course provides a comprehensive
and in depth look into the factors needed to configure and setup
a Local and Wide Area Network. The Network+ exam covers a wide range
of vendor and product neutral networking technologies. The Comptia
Network+ certification validates technical competency in networking
administration and support that can also serve as a pre-requisite
for vendor-specific IT certification. Earning a Comptia Network+
certification means that the candidate possesses the knowledge needed
to configure and operate a variety of networking products.

The Network plus training course objective is also to attain certification
in hardware and software component of the Comptia Net+ exam. This
certifies that the successful candidate knows the layers of the
OSI model, can describe the features and functions of network components
and has the skills needed to install, configure, and troubleshoot
basic networking hardware peripherals and on new technologies such
as wireless networking and gigabit Ethernet. The scope of networking
systems are broadened somewhat placing an increased emphasis on
Linux/Unix, Windows 9x, Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows 2003.
There is also more of an emphasis on hands-on experience knowledge
needed in the areas of network implementation and network support
including troubleshooting scenarios.
